Every month we publish a new edition of release notes to introduce Finaloop's newest features and product updates. Here are this month's updates:

💪 Bulk Edits

Easily update your inventory across multiple SKUs in one simple upload.

While Finaloop automatically syncs inventory data from Shopify, Amazon, and select wholesale channels, many brands sell through additional platforms like Walmart, eBay, or Etsy. Now, you no longer need to choose between entering a total COGS amount per channel (losing per-SKU visibility) or manually updating each product one by one.

With our new bulk edits tool, you can:

• Add units sold and restocked in one easy upload.
• Record dead inventory, product giveaways, and donations in bulk.
• Ensure accurate tracking for brands selling outside Shopify and Amazon, or those restocking returned inventory.

Available for all brands using our Sales-based COGS method or InventoryIQ. To try out the bulk updates for yourself, go to your Products page, click Actions and select Bulk Edit.

📦 Physical Count Adjustments

Ensure your inventory records match what’s actually in your warehouse with physical count adjustments.

Inventory discrepancies happen—whether it’s lost stock, forgotten giveaways, or supplier shortages. The best way to maintain accuracy is through periodic physical counts, and our new feature makes reconciliation seamless.

How it works:

• Sales-based COGS users – Update total inventory to match your physical count, or enter unit counts per SKU and we’ll calculate the value.
• InventoryIQ users – Adjust stock counts per SKU and per warehouse for precise tracking.

When you enter a physical count, Finaloop freezes the value on that date so your financials always reflect reality.

📋 Other InventoryIQ Updates

• Quick Fix: Easily resolve units with missing costs by adding a theoretical purchase before a product is fulfilled. Check out this walk-through to learn more.
• Default Warehouse Dates: Assign default warehouses for specific time periods— great for brands that changed warehouses mid-year.
• Export Inventory Data: Export your PO page, physical count records, and opening balances to CSV.
