Every month we publish a new edition of release notes to introduce Finaloop's newest features and product updates. Here are this month's updates:

💳 Get Paid Faster with Invoice Payments (Now Live!)

Finaloop now lets you add a secure online payment link (powered by Stripe, with Paypal coming soon) to your invoices, so you can get paid faster, cut manual work, and save on fees.

Why it’s a game changer:

Save on fees: Invoicing through Finaloop is free. You pay only your base payment processing fee and save the 0.5% invoice fee you'd pay on platforms like Stripe.
Multiple payment options: Choose to get paid by check, ACH, wire, or collect card payments online.
Auto-reconciliation: Payments automatically update your books (no manual entry)!
Flexible sharing: Send via PDF, email, or direct link.
Seamless SKU sync: Choose from your synced SKUs for real-time COGS tracking (Sales-based & InventoryIQ).

More Invoice Features You’ll Love

Reorder line items: Easily rearrange products on the invoice using arrow controls. Your updated order appears in the PDF too.
Add related PO numbers: New field for referencing purchase orders on invoices.

🎁 Shopify Gift Cards 2.0 Has Landed

Nearly half of our Shopify customers rely on gift cards to drive sales and retain customers, making accurate tracking essential. Our latest updates make managing gift cards easier, more accurate, and fully aligned with your financials.

What’s new:

Smarter data syncing: We now pull data from a more robust Shopify endpoint for full gift card visibility.
Accurate liability tracking: Gift card balances are now 100% aligned with Shopify.
New in-app Gift Card Page: Track balances and history in one central place.

Have business expenses that happened outside your connected accounts? Maybe you used a personal credit card or handled a cash transaction? That's where manual reporting comes in.

We’ve made it a whole lot easier to report these transactions accurately and ensure they’re reflected in your books.

What’s improved:

Streamlined access: The “Report Business Transaction” tool now lives directly on the Transactions page, giving you a centralized view of all your transactions.
Quick-launch: Use the new “+ Add Transaction” button to get started instantly.
Guided flow: A simple step-by-step process starting with your transaction’s business purpose so we categorize it correctly.
