# CapitalOne - How to upload your CSV & bank statements

This article will help you learn how to export your bank account statement or CSV for your CapitalOne bank accounts.

## 2. Exporting a **CSV file** of your CapitalOne transactions

### Your step-by-step guide on how to export a CSV file of your transactions from your CapitalOne account

This guide will walk you through downloading a CSV file containing your transaction history for your **CapitalOne** account.

### What you'll need
- Your CapitalOne account login credentials (Username & Password)

### Steps
1. Log in to your [CapitalOne account](https://www.capitalone.com/) using your username and password.
2. You should now see all of your accounts.
3. Look for the account relevant to your mission, and click **view account.**

4. You'll now be on the home screen for that account. Scroll down until you see the section called **" Statement Ending **" and click on **Download Transactions.**

5. On the popup you'll see two dropdowns.

1. **File Type:** click on **CSV**
   
   
   2. **Time Period:** select **Custom Date Range** and enter the date range in your mission.

6. Click **Export** to save the CSV to your device.
7. Head over to your [mission](https://home.finaloop.com/missions) in Finaloop, and upload your CSV file.

## 3. Exporting a **bank statement** from your CapitalOne account

As part of our onboarding and year-end reviews, we may ask for bank statements to confirm your bank balances and ensure your books are **100%** accurate.

### What you'll need
- Your CapitalOne account login credentials (Username & Password)

### Steps
1. Log in to your [CapitalOne account](https://www.capitalone.com/) using your username and password.
2. You should see now see all of your accounts.
3. Look for the account relevant to your mission, and click **view account.**

4. You'll now be on the home screen for that account. Click on **View Statements.**

5. On the popup with your statements you will be able to sort by date. Click on the date, and select the statement for the month listed in your mission.

6. Click on **Download** to save the statement to your device.
7. Head over to your [mission](https://home.finaloop.com/missions) in Finaloop, and upload your bank statement pdf.
